The Mirage complements Ukraine's F-16 fleet and is integrated to carry French munitions such as the AASM Hammer and SCALP cruise missile.

Ukraine War Context
France committed a batch of Mirage 2000-5F jets and trained Ukrainian crews in France before deliveries began in 2025. The Mirage strengthens Ukrainian air defense against cruise missiles and drones while enabling standoff strikes with AASM Hammer and SCALP munitions.
