Data & Methodology
Explosion event counts are derived from ACLED (Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project) using the "Explosions/Remote violence" event type category. Regional breakdown is estimated using the proportion of explosion events in total ACLED data applied to per-region event counts. Actual explosion counts per region may vary.
Data covers 2022-02-24 β 2026-03-11. Total explosion events recorded: 30,767.
